aero-naut Lilienthal 32 balsa model training glider kit for free flight. Wingspan 1190 mm x length 745 mm and weight 200 gram. This new development of the Lilienthal 32 training glider features a solid wood wing of standard (jedelsky) construction. This version does not need tissue covering or cellulose dope finish, which means shorter building time and guaranteed success. It should however have all wood surfaces given at least one coat of sanding sealer to waterproof the model. The gliders low total surface area ensures an excellent performance in the air. The lilienthal 32 is fitted with an auto-rudder which is activated when the tow line disengages. All wooden parts are laser cut and the wing is built on depron jigs. The kit includes laser cut balsa. obechi and plywood parts, milled leading edge and spruce spars, also has glue, nose ballast, sand paper, depron jigs and self adhesive stickers.
